Updated 2026-11-08

Good graduation invitation wording names the graduate, the school or class year, the date, time and place, and how to reply. Keep each line short for a video invite. Copy and edit the examples below; in the Graduation Celebration template the opening line, title, ribbon word, two message lines, name, the line under the details and the RSVP lines are separate fields.

Questions

What should a graduation party invitation include?

The graduate’s name, the school or class year, the date, time and address, and an RSVP date or contact.

How early should I send it?

Four to six weeks ahead; graduation season is busy, so earlier helps guests keep the date free.
